The idea of buying a pint of paint and painting a large poster board with it is going to be very helpful. The floors in the house are dark hardwood and I want to convey a warm comfortable atmosphere but it needs to be pretty light too. I was thinking maybe a sand color or something in that general shade. I think that's where I'll start and see how it looks on the poster board. I need to come up with some paint colors for an entire house.
